July 31, 2025 — exactly one month ago
Pedjoeang contacted me via Telegram.
He asked if I had any stock of House Raw Material.

I replied, “yes, check the market. I posted it a few days ago.”
But he answered, “there’s none, otherwise I wouldn’t be asking.”

Curious, I logged into the game right away. And indeed, the stock was gone.
So who bought it? At that time, Malaysia had no region, which means foreign players shouldn’t have been able to buy anything from the Malaysian market.

Driven by curiosity, I checked the market history. Maybe a new Malaysian player had joined, or perhaps an old one had returned, so I could invite them into the government.
But the result shocked me: the buyer wasn’t from Malaysia.

Hmmm?? How’s that possible?
When I checked, the resistance war was still in round 10 with the score 5 vs 4. The market history showed the purchase happened 4 hours earlier, which means it occurred during round 9—or even as early as round 8.
In the end, I decided to send a ticket to the admin.

In my ticket, I raised two main concerns:

Foreign players can’t buy items from the Malaysian market, let alone House Raw Material that I had posted long before Malaysia had any region. Even when the purchase happened, Malaysia still didn’t have one.

MYR is very rarely listed on the monetary market, so it’s nearly impossible for a player to get it easily. Sure, there are game rewards that give MYR, but those require extra effort.

Four hours later, the admin replied (by that time Malaysia had already gained a region thanks to winning the resistance war).
Here’s what they wrote:

Dear Player,
Thank you for reaching us out.
We have checked and everything is fine, products were on market and player bought them.
Best Regards,
Admin

HHAAAAHHHH???!!
What exactly did the admin check?? I clearly wrote in the ticket that Malaysia had no region. So logically, it was impossible for a foreign player to buy from the Malaysian market.

A few hours later, I sent a second ticket.
(And guess what? Two weeks later, the admin simply closed it… without any response.)

While waiting, I shared this story with other players. From them I learned that the same buyer often purchased large quantities of items. The most suspicious case: he once bought 10,000 Q3 ships and 10,000 Q4 ships. But when I checked his profile, he had never participated in a single navy battle (rank points still 0 at the time).

From there, I came to two possible conclusions:

  1. The buyer is a multi-account used specifically to drain items from the market while hiding the real owner.

  2. The buyer is actually an AI, like the one the admins hinted about months ago (though never publicly announced since it was supposedly still in testing).

If the first scenario is true, then the player exploited a bug to buy from a country without a region. Normally, that’s impossible (or maybe there’s a way, but after 500 days of playing, I’ve never discovered it?).

If the second scenario is true, then why haven’t the admins been transparent about it?

And either way, there’s still one big question left unanswered:
How did this player get MYR in the first place?

To investigate further, I planned a “trap” for the player.
First, I asked Pedjoeang to post some MYR at the normal price but in small amounts.
Second, I posted several items on the market—some cheap, some expensive.

For days, nothing happened. Then suddenly, the MYR got sold.

Okay, so someone bought it. But who? The target I suspected, or another player? (At that time Malaysia was holding several foreign regions, so MYR was needed to support resistance wars).
As another bait, I asked Pedjoeang to post MYR at 10x the normal price.

Over the next few days, the result was clear: the target bought items I listed on the market, as well as items posted by Pedjoeang (which were supposed to be for me). After counting, the total purchases exceeded the MYR we had ever listed. And during that whole time, there were no other MYR transactions in the monetary market.

BOOOOM!
Out of nowhere, the target bought a massive amount of products (you can see this in Malaysia’s tax revenue page).
The total: 3020 MYR.

And throughout the 522 days this game has existed, there has never been such a huge MYR offer in the monetary market. And over the past month, we had been closely monitoring battles, and not a single suspicious player was seen earning MYR from rewards.

So… where did that MYR come from??
Did the admins actually equip their AI with unlimited money?
Or did someone discover a hidden exploit in this game?

UPDATE:
While I write this article, the player bought another batch of weapons
Total MYR: 4620 MYR
