The Country That Does Not Exist Yet - Day 857

What would happen if the smallest countries in eDominacy stopped playing alone and united under one flag?

I am not talking about countries such as Bulgaria, Greece, Iran, or Hungary. They currently have five or six active citizens, and many are old communities with their own history. They may be small today, but they are still functioning national groups.

The more realistic question begins below them:

What about countries with no more than four meaningful active citizens?

Some are old countries that slowly lost their population. Some are occupied flags. Others are effectively a single player maintaining an otherwise empty country.

Citizenship also does not always mean political independence. Countries sometimes use citizenship strategically, so a player shown under a small flag may still be connected to a larger organization. The numbers can show the available pieces, but they cannot tell us which pieces are politically free to move.

Separately, none of these flags changes the balance of the game.

Together, they would.

========================================
THE FOUR-PLAYER CEILING
========================================

For this scenario, an eligible country can have no more than four active non-NPC citizens.

I excluded the established five- and six-player communities. I also removed the meaningless Singapore account with only 132 strength and no damage.

That leaves:

- 24 countries
- 49 active citizens
- 2,251,496 total strength
- 2,230,947 total intelligence
- 48.21 trillion lifetime damage
- 45,948.9 average strength
- 48 of the 49 citizens already inside military units

If these countries became one, the result would not beat Serbia.

But it would become the clear second power in the game.

========================================
THE COUNTRY THAT WOULD RANK SECOND
========================================

Country / bloc                  Actives        Total STR        Lifetime DMG      Avg STR
Serbia                              64        2,892,576.5          123.03T          45,196.5
United microstates                  49        2,251,496.0          48.21T          45,948.9
Indonesia                            30        1,194,677.0          20.14T          39,822.6
North Macedonia                    27        1,207,032.0          28.80T          44,704.9
Romania                              25        1,137,528.0          21.09T          45,501.1
Sweden                              23        1,038,249.5          21.15T          45,141.3
Turkey                              12          538,456.5          18.22T          44,871.4

The united country would rank:

- 2nd by active citizens
- 2nd by total strength
- 2nd by total intelligence
- 2nd by lifetime damage
- 1st in average strength among the large country-scale blocs

It would have almost twice Romania's active population and roughly twice Romania's total strength. It would also have more than twice the lifetime damage of Sweden, Romania, or Indonesia.

Serbia would still be far ahead in accumulated damage: 123.03T compared with 48.21T.

This is not a story about immediately replacing Serbia. It is about creating the first country with enough depth to stand between Serbia and everyone else.

========================================
FROM TOP-HEAVY FLAGS TO A BROAD COUNTRY
========================================

When a country has one to four active players, its strongest five citizens naturally account for 100% of its output. Lose one veteran and the country's military identity can disappear overnight.

United, that weakness changes.

The combined top five would account for only 35.2% of the new country's lifetime damage.

- United microstates: 35.2%
- Serbia: 42.0%
- North Macedonia: 43.0%
- Sweden: 44.0%
- Indonesia: 45.0%
- Romania: 61.0%

The proposed country would not only be large. It would be broad. Its power would no longer disappear because one isolated player stopped logging in or changed citizenship.

========================================
WHAT IS INSIDE THE POOL?
========================================

The largest statistical contributions by lifetime damage are:

1. Canada - 3 actives, 6.67T damage
2. Ukraine - 3 actives, 5.71T damage
3. Argentina - 4 actives, 3.67T damage
4. Italy - 2 actives, 3.52T damage
5. Croatia - 4 actives, 3.34T damage
6. Peru - 4 actives, 3.20T damage
7. Malaysia - 2 actives, 3.19T damage
8. India - 1 active, 2.89T damage
9. Slovenia - 2 actives, 2.29T damage
10. United Kingdom - 2 actives, 2.14T damage

Some entries, including Canada, look unusually powerful for their citizen count. This table is a statistical pool, not a claim that every country is an independent community ready to merge.

The proposal is simpler: if even part of this scattered pool chose to build something together, how quickly could it become relevant?

========================================
IT DOES NOT NEED TO START WITH 24 COUNTRIES
========================================

Convincing 24 countries at once would be almost impossible, but a union does not need to begin at full size.

To avoid pretending that statistics reveal political friendships, I made one random selection from the eligible table. It has no alliance, regional, or diplomatic meaning.

The random example contains:

- Austria
- Peru
- Brazil
- Argentina
- Croatia
- Chile
- Denmark
- Belarus
- Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Ireland
- Ukraine

Together, these 11 countries would produce:

- 27 active citizens
- 1,234,810 total strength
- 21.28T lifetime damage
- 45,733.7 average strength

That random partial union would already enter the top five by every main measure used in the earlier articles.

It would tie North Macedonia's 27 active citizens, have more total strength than North Macedonia, Romania, Sweden, or Indonesia, and slightly more lifetime damage than Sweden and Romania.

The project does not need every eligible country. It does not even need half of the 49 available citizens before it can become a top-five power.

One successful first group could demonstrate the idea. Other isolated players could join later if the new country offered working leadership, military coordination, supplies, and a reason to stay.

========================================
THE CRAZY VERSION
========================================

Now for the less realistic version.

If the ceiling was ten active citizens instead of four, the combined country would have:

- 28 countries
- 71 active citizens
- 3.28 million total strength
- 3.25 million total intelligence
- 69.89T lifetime damage
- 46,197.7 average strength

It would have more active citizens, more total strength, and more total intelligence than Serbia.

It still would not match Serbia's 123.03T lifetime damage. This version would also require established communities to abandon their flags, so it is not the serious proposal.

But it shows how much power is scattered across the lower half of the map.

FINAL QUESTION
========================================

The numbers show what is possible. The political part is harder.

Which of these countries could actually unite?

Build the puzzle yourself and post your country combination in the comments.

You do not need to know every political connection. Just choose from the table: how many countries and citizens would your new country have, and could your version reach the top five?

========================================
METHODOLOGY
========================================

- Snapshot game day: 857.
- Active citizen = seen within the last 7 game days.
- Country tables exclude citizens in Amaterasu, TNT Elite Unit, and California National Guard.
- The serious scenario includes countries with one to four meaningful active citizens.
- Singapore was excluded because its only active account had 132 strength and zero lifetime damage.
- Lifetime damage is the full profile damage of the currently active roster, not damage dealt only during this seven-day window.

I am ready to follow the person who will launch the new country's program. In the game, we have the USA, which is a real-world Dream Land—a country of foreigners that built an empire. Let's make something like that here too. If you truly want to wake up the game with a new tactic/country, hit me up, I will follow you. I've been playing this for over 10 years and I want the game to be bigger, more active... Let's make America great again!!!
I think you should prefer a smaller country. over 10 regions gives you nothing but placing a target for ranking. you could haggle for those extra regions in usa every shuffle and have constant rw to free regions, don't see anything more
I learned from other games that rank and historical damage cannot be a parameter of how strong a player or country is, but how much resources they have and how much they can spend
So, Switzerland!!
@beebeam you are correct but unfortunately I can only read available info. I'd be happy to hear which visible parameters I can use to make the analysis better
