The Map Reset. The Players Did Not.
A new shuffle has begun.
Countries are back in their core regions, resources have moved, borders are empty again, and everyone gets another chance to decide what their country will become.
Before the wars and expansion begin, this is probably the cleanest moment to look at something we usually argue about without numbers:
Who actually entered the new shuffle with active citizens?
This report counts citizens active during the last seven game days, removes banned and obvious junk accounts, and separates the known NPC military units from real country populations.
And this shuffle begins with a few surprises.
·
·
◆ 253 PLAYERS — 41 ACTIVE COUNTRIES ◆
At the start of Day 888:
253 real active citizens
41 countries with active citizens
65 active NPC citizens
For comparison, the cleaned Day 787 snapshot gives us 281 real active citizens across 45 countries.
So yes, the game is smaller.
But 253 players still entered this shuffle across 41 different countries, and the changes inside that population are more interesting than the total alone.
Let's start with who actually brought the people.
·
·
◆ WHO CAME TO THE NEW SHUFFLE? ◆

  1. Serbia — 63
    Day 857: 64 | Day 787: 71

  2. Indonesia — 33
    Day 857: 30 | Day 787: 19

  3. Romania — 24
    Day 857: 25 | Day 787: 30

  4. Sweden — 21
    Day 857: 23 | Day 787: 20

  5. North Macedonia — 20
    Day 857: 27 | Day 787: 26

  6. Turkey — 11
    Day 857: 12 | Day 787: 14

  7. Saudi Arabia — 8
    Day 857: 11 | Day 787: 5

  8. Greece — 6
    Day 857: 6 | Day 787: 7

  9. Bulgaria — 5
    Day 857: 6 | Day 787: 10

  10. Hungary — 5
    Day 857: 5 | Day 787: 6

Serbia remains comfortably the largest real country.
That isn't the surprise.
Second place is.
·
·
◆ INDONESIA IS GROWING ◆
On Day 787, Indonesia had only 19 active citizens.
Day 857: 30
Day 888: 33
That's 14 additional active citizens since Day 787 — a 74% increase.
Most established countries either remained around the same size or became smaller during that period.
Indonesia went the other way.
It now enters the shuffle with the second-largest real roster in the game and more than half the active population of Serbia.
Whatever happens on the map, Indonesia begins with something every government wants:
More people than it had before.
·
·
◆ A NEW #1 — BUT IT ISN'T A COUNTRY ◆
Indonesia may be the big growth story, but it isn't the biggest surprise in the population ranking.
For several reports, Serbia and the combined NPC bloc have been slowly moving toward each other.
This shuffle, they finally crossed.
·
DAY 719
Serbia — 77
NPC — 69
·
DAY 787
Serbia — 71
NPC — 67
·
DAY 888
Serbia — 63
NPC — 65
·
For the first time since these reports began, the combined NPC military units have more active citizens than any real country.
The NPC bloc is #1 by population.
Before anyone starts preparing for our new NPC government, Serbia hasn't suddenly lost its position as the dominant real power.
SERBIA
2.96M STR | 132.85T lifetime damage
ALL NPC
2.01M STR | 39.57T lifetime damage
And the crossover didn't happen because the NPC population suddenly exploded.
NPC: 69 → 67 → 65
Serbia: 77 → 71 → 63
The NPC population has actually become slightly smaller.
It simply changed much less.
After several reports of watching the gap close, we finally have our unusual Day 888 headline:
The largest active roster in eDominacy is no longer a country.
·
·
◆ HEADCOUNT IS ONLY HALF THE STORY ◆
So we know who has the people.
That doesn't necessarily tell us who has the heavier roster.
·
ACTIVE POPULATION

  1. Serbia — 63

  2. Indonesia — 33

  3. Romania — 24

  4. Sweden — 21

  5. North Macedonia — 20

·
Now take those same five countries and rank them by the lifetime damage carried by their active citizens.
LIFETIME DAMAGE

  1. Serbia — 132.85T

  2. North Macedonia — 26.18T

  3. Sweden — 25.23T

  4. Romania — 22.79T

  5. Indonesia — 21.87T

·
Same five countries.
Very different order.
Indonesia has the depth.
North Macedonia and Sweden have heavier veteran rosters.
Romania sits between the two.
And Serbia remains in a category of its own.
Different countries are therefore entering the new map with very different kinds of power.
·
·
◆ THE OTHER MAJOR ROSTERS ◆
The two headline stories are Indonesia's growth and the NPC crossover.
But behind them are several countries worth watching for very different reasons.
·
NORTH MACEDONIA
20 active citizens
26.18T lifetime damage
North Macedonia fell from 27 active citizens on Day 857 to 20 today.
But those 20 still carry the second-highest lifetime damage among real countries.
Smaller roster. Very heavy roster.
·
SWEDEN
21 active citizens
25.23T lifetime damage
Sweden starts fourth in population but third in lifetime damage.
It doesn't have Indonesia's depth, but its active roster carries considerably more veteran weight per player.
·
ROMANIA
24 active citizens
22.79T lifetime damage
Romania remains the third-largest real country and firmly inside the major-power group.
It sits between Indonesia's population advantage and the heavier veteran rosters of Sweden and North Macedonia.
·
TURKEY
11 active citizens
18.61T lifetime damage
Then there is Turkey.
Only 11 active citizens, but more than 18T lifetime damage.
It has fewer than half Romania's active population while carrying more than 80% of Romania's lifetime damage.
Its headcount may be small.
Its roster isn't.
·
·
◆ SMALL DOESN'T ALWAYS MEAN QUIET ◆
Once we leave the larger countries, population rankings become even less useful.
Some very small rosters are carrying surprisingly large amounts of veteran damage.
·
Saudi Arabia
8 active | 6.48T damage
Greece
6 active | 7.15T damage
Iran
4 active | 5.82T damage
Argentina
4 active | 4.01T damage
Ukraine
3 active | 6.34T damage
Canada
3 active | 7.53T damage
·
Canada is probably the best example.
Three active citizens.
7.53T lifetime damage.
There are still plenty of small groups capable of making themselves relevant if they decide to move together.
·
·
◆ FULL ACTIVE COUNTRY RANKING ◆
For anyone who wants the complete picture, here is the Day 888 starting roster.

·
◆ SO, WHO HAS THE BEST STARTING HAND? ◆
That's where the numbers stop and the shuffle begins.
Serbia remains the giant.
Indonesia enters with the biggest growth story.
North Macedonia and Sweden carry veteran weight beyond their population.
Romania remains firmly among the major countries.
Turkey and several smaller rosters have enough experienced players to make their headcounts deceptive.
And for the first time in these reports, the NPC bloc sits at the top of the population ranking.
But everybody just received the same thing:
A fresh map.
Population tells us who arrived.
Strength tells us what they brought.
Neither tells us what they'll do with it.
That part starts now.
Good luck with the new shuffle.

Great article! Thank you for the effort and time you put into writing this. o/
Keep in mind that we have 6-7 active players across the border Laugh Canada and Italy for example 5 real players
@NSKBpro I know, but then there won't be any drama Smile
